For once we the youth of Volta region will vote for our future. We are no more going to make ourselves the region for NDC. We want to be the party that decides the winning party just like Greater Accra, Central Northern, and Western regions. We will vote for the party that will deliver development to the region and the country as a whole. When I look at the Volta region, my heart weeps and keeps asking myself what are we gaining for always voting NDC. We will vote now for parties with development in mind for the region. NDC without Volta region votes will not get 30% of votes in Ghana, yet we are denied every development in the region. Its time for a change and make ourselves the region that decides the winner. We are no more going to make ourselves the automatic banker for the NDC.

I have relentlessly suggested that Ghana needs a viable third political Party to force the intolerance in NPP leadership stop and the corruption in the NDC reasonably diminish.
But the CPP is not that Party. In fact, for any such viable third Party to evolve, it should not have any of the most visible identity of the old corrosive Parties, even if it would be touting the ideals of any of them.
That lesson is what NPP succeeded to take catapult the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition back into prominence, and PNP of Dr. Liman's days used as well to shake off some of the dust the Nkrumahists had gathered over the years to win in 1979.
The name CPP sends chill down the spine of many among the electorate, no matter how the Party's current leaders claim to have transformed it. This a typical instance of demonstrating what is in a name...an age-old concept among students of nomenclature.
It is therefore cogent for any merging Political Parties to adopt a whole different name from any of the component Parties to quickly and easily persuade the electorate that the new Party is more likely a transformation Party that could have amalgamation of diverse views and ideas that all folks could appreciate.
Moreover, keeping any one of the names of the old merging Parties might connote the surviving name assigns a certain superiority to the old Party that had that name over the others. But we all know how important it is to form a Party that recognizes the equality of all members.

The name of the merged party will be CPP with just a change of party symbol from CPP to PNC. How difficult is that? Technically, the new party can go to congress to select the flag bearer.

The other option will be, the name and the party symbol stays with CPP and the party’s presidential candidate comes from PNC. This should satisfy both parties.

Your foolishness of claiming to be of Nkrumah origin politically had proved that you had used his name for nothing. All what every smart person sees about you all is your love for the title 'Doctor' but in real sense both educationally and politically you are nothing.
In practical terms you have nothing to show because you had never been able to forge unity but instead division after division, a disgraceful exhibition of foolishness and lack of imtelligence in everything.
Itis through the achievement of unity that one can be rewarded with dignity in political circles, and this, you have done nothing to achieve. You all claim and pinpoint to Nkrumah but there is no sign you cry for unity like Nkrumah did.
