Tete Quarshie - Medina road was about 50 per cent complete before Prof. Mills became a President (Legon overpass was under construction and so was the Atomic Junction overpass. Looking at the landscape at Medina Nzongo Junction, there was obviously a need for an over pass but alas, NDC business as usual! The traffic situation at the place now is getting horrible. This is even just by the way: Mahama came to power at the time policy rate hovered around 18 %. Today, policy rate is 25%, making Ghana a country with the highest interest rate in the world! Is this good for the youth? Ghana is is not supposed to create jobs as TEIN wants to imply; Government's business is to create enabling environment for the private sector to thrive and create jobs. Among these things are low cost of credit and reliable supply of energy, two areas Mahama has performed very poor. Lending rate for the manufacturing sector is about 2 % in US and about 40% in Ghana [it used to be 21% during Kufour's era]. There is no hope for the youth! You go on rejoicing!! Fuuls!
