Andah isn't seeking a NPP seat in parliament because he knows the NPP is cleaner than the NDC. There is no evidence to that effect. Andah's primary aim in his membership of that Occupy grouping was always regime change. And, one strategy having failed, he's merely moving on to Plan B.

George Andah is saying he believes he has got something to offer the country and is ready to serve God and country in this regard. Who determines the political platform on which he decides to stand to achieve that purpose?
Is it the NPP, NDC, CPP, PPP, UFP, who exactly?
George Andah has earned the academic, business, political, and advocacy right to make that determination solely and completely on his own terms, and he should be credited with having the presence of mind, the exposure and the experience to make that quality decision.
For me the issue is not about OccupyGhana being a purported offshoot of the NPP.
It has everything to do with the seat which George Andah intends to contest. It is deemed as a safe seat by the NDC party and with George now throwing his hat into the ring, the chances of the NDC retaining that seat has gone up in smoke.
Questioning OccupyGhana and whether it is an offshoot of the NPP is neither here nor there. The main issues are, have the members earned that right to determine on their own terms, what they can do for God and country by serving? The answer is yes. Have they earned the right to choose as to which political platform that would in their estimation better serve this preceding purpose and interest? The answer is a resounding yes. Do they bring qualities, experiences, motivations, great ideas, vision and knowhow, purpose that would help, if they so decide to serve this country? The answer is another resounding yes.
Those are the issues that matter and not whether it is an offshoot of the NPP, NDC, CPP or whoever.
The NDC party should stop the obscene display of stupidity and get on with the task of governing which is becoming clear, they have no idea on how to achieve that and have thus resorted to mundane, infantile and intellectually blunt argumentative posturing on unnecessary and mindless matters.

Let us be realistic, the group was formed out of political party which is NPP and the evidence is clear now. Dr Amoako has also allow his political affiliation to over shadow his judgement. Dr Amoako, NDC is not saying he should have join them or whatever but telling ghanaians that , this is the group which has denied being affiliates to any party. What they are simply saying is,....if Occupy Ghana is apolitical, they expect Andah G. to stand as an Independent candidate and not to align himself with the biggest minority party. So should the NPP win and repeat the same things the NDC is doing how can Andah correct them ? I am aware you do not like the NDC in any way or form but at times it is proper to see some sense in what they say. Andah has the right to join any party of his choice but this choice just smells fishy, making onlookers to think he is a puppet of NPP.
