People with such mentality should not be given power, no wonder the 15 years rule of NDC has been full of failures and retrogression. These mentality started with seizure of toilets, locking-up of NHIS offices, taking over of toll booths etc. Ghana is a blessed nation and we must elect our leaders properly and not allow tribalism and propaganda to win the day and elect wrong leaders otherwise we will continue to suffer as a nation. God has taught us a lesson with the coming back to power of the NDC and it's important that Ghanaians vote wisely come 2016.

The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.
This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

Trace the history very well before calling names,this is not the first time it is happening,it is happening throughout the country and it is based on that they removed Bani because some have been against him ever since he was appointed,and most of these people are your people who are now praising the president for removing him.
You may be happy because they have removed Ewe and replaced him with Ashanti and another Ashanti made his deputy.
Some of us care about who will bring development to the region but this Debrah who started his first so called National Sanitation Day on the day of Hogbetsotso festival which is the most celebrated festival in the region is not the one that will do that.
These people have every right to complain since that is the language we know or listen to in Ghana.
As for the regional executives,they are just a bunch of clueless people,instead of finding ways to calm the branch executives they quickly disassociated themselves from the aggrieved executives forgeting that these are a large group of people while they are just about ten people who don't speak for the people.
The president has brought this confusion upon himself,he should not have listened to those people calling for removal of Bani without any tangible reason,we don't fire people just for the sake of it to satisfy the few.
That is politics in Ghana.

I went to school with his immediate elder brother Akuffu. Another elder brother Ayisi was my senior at LAMBS at Tafo. He is a young man who is a grassroot's person. I don't want to accuse you of bigotry, but you are sounding like one. Who is Prosper Bani? The fact that he comes from the Volta Region makes no difference. If he was a divisive person at the Presidency as was revealed, then he must make way for someone that the footsoldiers can identify with. The President makes the calls and he is not answerable to anyone. Those so-called Voltarians were ill-advised. They are not more NDC than me. This issue has nothing to do with the president having siblings from the Volta region,he is from the north but some in the north demonstrated some violently for the appointment of Fuseini and Harunah Iddrisu,saying he has siblings from the region is just a senseless comment with regards to this issue.
Loyalty is very important when it comes to appointments so if these people are saying their votes should be respected when it comes to appointments they have every right to say so and as you have just stated that vote is not there for the NDC at where this Debrah guy is coming from,Akyem is where NDC cannot win any election no matter who is on the ticket,even Victor Smith that did a lot for that constituency could not win a parliamentary seat there.
Yours is your association with that family but not what you are claiming is the right thing to do.
I'm not a supporter of any individual from the Volta Region for appointments,what I care for is the development of the region but let me tell you that you are only one of the rumor mongers that Prosper Bani was a divisive person at the presidency,you don't know what was going on there,you are just following the crowd to believe what you wrote here.

Let me also tell you that I personally don't feel proud to see people appointed to positions or get job,I feel proud of myself not for others.
All these appointments are not something I'm proud of and I don't go to Ghana parading myself on the corridors of these officials as others do,I don't even have the time to waste visiting my family members let alone government officials who will not have time for you.

You see, like the Nzema's who insisted that because oil and gas has been found in their region, their son from the Region Hon Buah should be Minister of Energy and Power, look at the mess he has created, enough mess for the President to creat a new Ministry and member Power from the Ministry, uncalled for solution to a problem. The Chiefs and people of Nzema have dealt Ghana a blow by insisting on such a novice heading such a high profile Ministry. People from the Volta region at least didn't go on demonstration to demand appointment for the people of the Volta region as others did and got what demonstrated for and our chiefs never complained in a public forum for appointment of the citizenry.
These people are just following the trend in the country,some of us don't care as I stated earlier but only care about the development of our areas but we need to call spade a spade,at least sometimes.

The call for the reinstatement of Bani because he is from the Volta region. Tribal appointments have gone on for too long and there should be a time for it to end. Being a personal friend of Mahama, there should be a reasonable reason why he relieved him of his post. I remember some top NDC people did not agree with Bani even when it comes to seeing the Prez, which should not be the case. I think we need a united and better Ghana and should speak against things even if it affects the parties or individuals we like and support in government.

When recently some were complaining that Ashantis are being denied appointments which was repeated recently by Asantehene you guys didn't see anything wrong with that,we didn't think such comments devide the country but when a handful of people are against the removal of somebody from the Volta region all of a sudden we realized it is wrong for the country.
I will pray that the new Chief of Staff let them see the president 24/7 if Bani was the reason why they were not seeing the president,congratulations to them.

Now the few lucky ones in employment with the NDC government which we fought for b have become targets of some diabolical plan from the northern dominated Mahama led government.
I sincerely think its about time Votarians think and think deep to valuate our political support to one party which we had helped sustain in power for that long but have little to show here as our share from the national development programmes.

All the reasons are hinged on tribalism. This inward looking attitude must change somewhere along the line for the nation to proceed. Somebody should not be kept in a national position simply because of his tribal affiliations. The person should be there on the basis of competence. I will therefore suggest to those tribalist within the NDC party to start arguing from the point of view of Prosper Bani's competence to hold the position of Chief of Staff and not from the point that he is their tribesman.
