The Chief of Staff is the Senior administrator of the presidency and just follow the directives of the president but for some reasons just after taking office these people who think it is they who supposed to be there keeps calling for his dismissal with some flimsy excuse that he did not fight with them,the same thing they said about the Chief of Staff in President Mills' administration.
Chief of Staffs like in America travel with the president to almost a every place,that is why he is the Chief of Staff,traveling with the president is the right thing saying he supposed to remain in office while the president is away is just display of ignorance,in the first place he does not even travel all the time with the president as he supposed to be doing if you compare to how it is done in America.

The Chief of Staff is a position carved out in 1993 parliamentary Act 496 with the sole responsibility of running the president's administration at the seat if government. The COS's authority to make any decision derives SOKELY from the President.
So there is nothing that Prosper Bani does that is not authorized by Prez Mahama. That is his sole job.
So whoever from the NDC who claims to gave "fought in the trenches" must realize their attacks on the Chief of Staff is an attack on Prez John Mahama, period.

During his UN service he worked with both Rawlingscand Kufgior administration's. He was responsible for creating the small arms proliferation prevention program me here in Ghana and elsewhere on the continent.

He owes no politrickian no favors.
If you read this hit job of an article there is zero example if what specific wrong he's supposed to have done. Except he was "not in the trenches" in the run up to 2012.

Listening to Mahama in a question and answer session what he comes across as is as a smooth talker. The guy must be very good with chatting up women. He has a subtle way of deflecting a critical question such as why are Ghanaians on the streets of Accra if the Ghana he described there was such indeed. Mahama used the single spine to defend himself there. So were the workers taking to the street simply because they didn't understand how the single sine works. Come on Mahama you can do better than that.
The same question was posed to Mahama in the Aljazera interview and he deflected street agitations to the workers trying to stop him from keeping the public wage bill down.
Come on Mahama, everyone knows that NDC functionaries have been included in the public wage bill hence this wieldy size of it. If not tell us how dows NDC pays the likes of Asiedu Nketia so much so that Asiedu Nketia has mansions in Canada.
