Though the idea is noble, me think that would open the flood gates for more shallow minds like the Akua Donkors, the Odikes, the Kofi Wayos and the insurrection of more splinter groups of the moribund Nkrumahs CPP to unmeritoriously benefit from the hard won largesse of the taxpayer. That would also encourage Trokosi leaning ndc criminal organization to form more parties only to amalgamate at the last minute to contest election. They did it in '90s where they criminally formed the Eagle Party of Owuraku Amofa and National Reform Party of Goosie Tandor to deceive Ghanaians. They " babies with sharp teeth, okudjeto, Felix, Jinapo" were bedweters in lower primary school, back in those days, and may have no idea about this history.

IDE G, I would like to have you comment on the idea that we must put this in the form of taxation either as poll tax or something. It must not be some form of faceless money. As we are all supposed to form part of the governance of this country then the support for this must come out of our pockets - employed, self-employed or unemploed . Any other form of raising this tax is a no no. There must be a personal responsibility just as we have personal responsibility for voting such clueless, irresponsible and corrupt governments and disgusting parliamentarians. After that we foolishly call them excellencies and hnourables
