Today the NPP with tribal and political nature of selfishness never even mentioned the great work and good steps taken by Tsikata to lead Ghana to the level which enabled us to reach the ''oil find'' Another sad move made by Kufour is the cheap deal on the part of Ghana that we had nothing good in the deal which unluckly placed us in a class one level in terms of what we got from the deal.
Kufour accepted the cheap deal because he gets his back door commission monthly without carig for what the nation gets, a sign and demonstration of Ashanti selfishness proving the fact that the psyche of the Ashantis is selfishness in reality.
How this foolishness and selfishness of Kufour give people the mind to ask people to worship him. Yes, Kufour was called Ataa Ayi thief thief, because he smartly hand twisted the owner of HOTEL WAWAA and bought it cheap from the owner.
Kufour, K T Hammond and others of the NPP stole the land on which situated he Accra International Students Hostel in the Airport area in Accra.
The lands besides the Tema motor way was stolen by Kufour and the NPP GURUS and shared among themselves. Does this call for such a thief to be worship by people, well may be by his tribes men with myopic tribal sentiments of no good aims.

Kufour is not a saint and he cannot be one and by using him for Alan’s platform, you make the same mistake Professor Atta Mills made when standing on JJ Rawlings platform for his first presidential bid.
Ghanaian people voted for President Kufour because they wanted a change. Mr. Kufour promised "Zero Tolerance For Corruption" by Stating that "There will be, under this administration, zero tolerance for corruption," Preaching virtue and practicing vice, his "Zero Tolerance For Corruption" test was by renovating his private home with state money and acquiring Hotel Kufour, known as "Hotel Wawa" among other assets. This is what Mr. “Shame”. Kufour calls Zero Tolerance For Corruption? To cover up the financial scandal for fear of vilification, this hotel was sold out before he left office. President Kufour warned his ministers That he will not permit corrupt administration, he said this - "I will not tolerate vices but to set the records right". Retorting to President Kufour warning, one will ask if he did not see or hear his corrupt ministers like Dr. Dick Anane, Mr. Kwamena Bartels, Mr. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Mr. Muktar Bamba, Mr. Isaac Edumadze, Mr. Yaw Osafo-Marfo, Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, Dr. Kwame Amoako-Tuffour, and the like who plugged the state into severe financial losses, not to mention Kwasi Osei, his foreign minister who imported rotten rice from India, Kennedy Agyapong, who was contracted in the last days of Kufour to supply electrical equipment but did not do. Another corruption or shear wickedness saw the looting or stealing of furniture and fittings in the state's bungalows occupied by NPP General Secretary, Nana Ohene Ntow and Mr. Ebenezer Sekyi Hughes, speaker of parliament, after their term of office ended. In similar stream, naked before the eyes of Ghanaians, series of Cocaine Seized by the police and the drug enforcement agents, kept under strict surveillance at the police headquarters vanished into the thin air. In another circumstance, cocaine intercepted on the sea under the close watch by UK and U.S. narcotic officers got missing and the suspects till now walked away free of charge.
President JA Kufour did not even endorse his own vice-presidential bid. When Alhaji Aliu Mahama died, Mr. Kufour paid him a tribute glorifying him as a statesman who served and was ready to serve his country. The question is, if he were good and the party accorded him due respect, why did not Mr. Kufour rally behind him, a man who was his vice for 8 years?
There is a lot of hypocrisy in contemporary politics. But it would be a mistake to assume that there is more hypocrisy around than ever before. There is just more political exposure than we think but people are critical with the truth all which makes hypocrisy difficult to find. It will be recall that hypocrisies of the contemporary politics and are relatively potentially very dangerous. The sensitive question is what kind of hypocrite should voters choose as their next leader? The question seems utterly cynical. It is actually much more cynical to pretend that politics can ever be completely sincere. The most dangerous form of political hypocrisy is to believe that politics is without hypocrisy. We should not be misled to politics of hypocrisy let alone cynically embracing it. We should stop trying to eliminate every form of hypocrisy, and we should stop vainly searching for ideally authentic politicians. Instead, we should try to distinguish between harmless and harmful hypocrisies and should only worry about its most damaging varieties. What are the limits of truthfulness in politics? And when, where, and how should we expect our politicians to be honest with us, and about what?
Looking back at the political history of Ghana, there is no doubt that we have not deceived by some people roaming down our throats their ambition down, or using others as scapegoats. In comparing todays' NPP seems to be a compelling indictment of the Bush Administration's cynical, anti-democratic manipulation of the media. A critical analysis of American politics today, reviews the curtain on the pervasive political manipulation of the media and reveals just how fragile our democracy is. Among them are political advertisements and talk shows to mainstream media reporting, clearly showing how political discourse is now dominated by carefully scripted images and rhetoric, all in favour of the NPP and their cohorts. One cannot deny the propaganda style of Ashanti/Akyem politicians who hide behind the scene only to enjoy the fruits of what others have sacrificed their life for. Not to mention our journalism bought with money than to be sincere with the truth.
JA Kufour during his tenure of office travelled extensively but sad to unaware his minister of finance, Mr. Osafo Marfo, and Senior Minister, Mr. J. H. Mensah, on two occasions deceived Ghanaians to have contracted loans. It was later on found out That IFC loan address was someone living and the other was a garage. While Ghana has diplomatic abroad who could have verified the authenticity of these establishments, the duo and their delegates travelled excessively to negotiate the loans all which turned out to be a scam causing financial losses to the state.
As if that's not enough, when in opposition NPP blamed Rawlings' NDC or selling our telephone network to Melekom Malaysia and Telenor later. But just about to leave office, Kufour sold the same national treasure to Vodafone BV, who had never operated a landline in the UK and The Netherlands, for a mere token. He was bootable to bribe the NPP MPs to vote in favour of the plan. This same president after leaving office recommended gratuity of $ 85,000 each and himself and awarded himself $ 400,000 a year with luxury cars plus other amenities. JA Kufour supervised the sale of state properties-including bungalows and lands at very cheap prices among themselves.
Talking about foreign travels, President Kufour embarked on unnecessary foreign travels than any leader Ghana has had. Often lies are much more plausible, more appealing to reason, than reality, since the liar has the great advantage of knowing beforehand what the audience wishes or expects to hear. GAKE should be circumspect and if they are campaigning for Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, they should not make mistake by using anyone’s platform since guilt is individual like salvation.

This is the way I see the long stated comments put forward by the GAKE group of the NPP praising Kufour with political and tribal bigotry intentions, a situation that Ghana does not welcome since the nation needs reality of the truth in every area of the nation's political and economical development.
We have learn how to call a spade a spade just for the progress of our nation since that could be the plume line on which the nation's progress could be well weighed.
Whatever may be said about Kufour and the long list of progress chalked under his rule of 8 years as stated by the GAKE guys could always have to be coupled with the negative effect that the HIPC of Kufour rule has presently caused to our national economy, leaving the NDC govenments of Mills-Mahama-Arthur of having to service or pay all the loans Kufour used the HIPC to acquire from the DONORS.
In my opinion it is sad that non educated Ghanaians are poor to understand our national economy and how it works, but what about the so called educated guys.
Are they also village oriented educated buffons who use education to lead people into having bad picture of people who are trying their best to see things get better for all and praise people like Kufour who caused damage to the economy in a smart stealing way that not all could see and know?
Kufour of course used the HIPC to collect all those loans in the name of developing Ghana but the real fact is who and which government is paying those loans with huge interests today? Is it the NPP? Is it not the NDC govenment of Mahama-Arthur whom the GAKE guys called the mediocre administration paying for those loans after the long grace time give to the NPP Kufour adminisration expired?
With this information every wise citizen can understand the economic burden Kufour put on the present government. Besides all this HIPC negative effects on the economy, Kufour left office with [nsgative] budget deficit while at the same time introduced the SSSS which also brought in its problems of how to pay this increase in salaries to public sector workers.
In my opinion Kufour is the worst leader of Ghana who only took loans via HIPC and runaway and left the responsibility of paying those huge interest to the NDC to pay, a move he is aware of the consequences. If so what make him the best even among the UP tradition of today.
GAKE guys should go and sleep and come out with fresh mind to talk to the public about the reality and the truthful affairs of Kufour's presidency, and throw away their tribal and political stupidity and face facts so that others can learn from them.

We went hipc that wiped $3.9 billion of our debt(external debt) which left $4 billion internal debt. Hipc did not clear all our debt so in eight years in office, Kuffour added $4 billion to our debt portfolio but our gdp went to $17.2 billion which was later rebased to $32 billion so what large debt are you talking about?
For the last six years that Ndc has been in power, it has added more than $20 billion of debt and our debt portfolio is now close to 30 billion dollars whilst our gdp is still $38 billion.
It is just a plain lie to say Mills/Mahama/Arthur were left with a huge debt. The same ndc administration has added close to 22 billion dollars in debt but has nothing in case of infrastructure to show for the huge amountit has bborrowed.

I like President Kufour, but we are in the mess now because, he really did not try for Akufo-Addo in the 2008 elections and that is why Ghana's economy is in the mess today. If Kufour and Allan have supported Akufo-Addo he would have won the election flat out. The NPP deserves to be in opposition.
