Absolute nonsense! Mahama is not even half way through his term of office so to describe him as a failure is nothing short of political immaturity and treachery. The current coalition government in Britain took 3 years to start turning the British economy round after the deepest recession to hit the world in recent memory. Somehow Ghanaians in general and the NPP in particular think Ghana is some remote island somewhere in the solar system completely insulated from external shocks of any kind and so Mahama must perform some magic to ensure no Ghanaian suffers any adverse effects of the deepest world-wide recession since the great depression. Get real! Age is absolutely a factor in governance. We need a president who will concentrate on the job in hand and not visits to doctors. Just look around the world and you will find that the overwhelming majority of leaders are youthful and they are not failing. The old men in Ghana must make way for younger, more capable and adept leaders to move the country forward. For over 50 years we have been seeing the same old people with outmoded ideas that have woefully failed to move our country forward so allow the youth, however inexperienced, the chance to decide their own future and the future of our country. Accept it or not some presidential hopefuls know they have one foot in the grave.
