Ghanaians feel that every vice president should eventually be made a president, what they don’t realize is most VPs in Ghana are selected not for their merits but as a strategy to win votes – the Northern and the Fanti votes in the case of the two above mentioned VPs. Successful presidents are those who have a vision and have been very successful in their personal lives. Not those who have depended on government to push them along.

Ghana politicians lack discipline. They need to tone down unnecessary rhetoric.
The politics of cynicism is waste of time. It does not move the ball forward, -- beyond the centre-circle.
The phrase: "We are being led by a bunch of lawless jokers. . .", is not helpful.
It does not probe whether or not the president can fulfill his proposal for free education to all of the children of Ghana, -- irrespective of parental-ability to pay.
Mr Bempah's statement has no economic basis.
On the other hand, the issue of providing free education to Ghanaian children is pure economics.
If Mr Bempah would agree that: economics is the allocation of resources; then I'm sure he would also agree that, the right question for the president must be:
How is the country going to pay for his proposed budget-busting program?
The president's answer in cedis, and peswas; would indicate whether or not his proposal is real, or mere politics.
By placing a price tag, and a source of payment on the proposal; he would then be compelled to implicate Parliament to assess the feasibility, and the cost-benefit of the program.
Parliament would also have the opportunity to amend the president's program to make it more budget friendly.
This is how our democracy must function.
Unless we can endeavor to find solutions in a methodical fashion, we shall fail to consolidate our democracy.
The politics of mudslinging is below our level at this point in time.
Our politicians must use their time at the microphone to display substance, rather than useless rhetoric.
Let' solve our people's problems with a scientific mentality. We must guard against arbitrary and ad hoc problem-solving.
May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana:

The unity of our dear country must not be compromised for any political gain. We must respect every tribe in the country and avoid playing on the minds of those who have not been lucky to have any formal education for our selfish earns. Any politician who is sensible and love GHANA must stop pointing at where TRIBAL POLITICS might have come from, because that will not take us anywhere. Another person will come and point at another direction. The fact is that, today we all know it is not a good thing to do and must be discouraged, rather than use it to our selfish advantage. The unity of our dear nation is more important than the survival of any political grouping. Ghana has been there long before any of these parties (which have a lot of selfish and insincere individuals) were formed. Ghana will be there when they are long gone. Let us sincerely pledge our loyalty to GHANA rather than a political party. How sincere are most of the members of these parties when it comes to stewardship with things of the nation? RESPECT AND EMBRACE EVERY TRIBE. In that lies the STRENGTH of OUR NATION. With that we will DEVELOP, HAVE PEACE and be WEALTHY. LONG LIVE GHANA.
