Why, because he is a northerner, he should be treated differently if accused. What I expect is that, people should be calling for a speedy investigation not on tribal grounds. So if he is not a descendant of Dombo then he can be hanged to dry? Mr Afoko knows he is not Asante or Akyem, yet he joined NPP. You are not telling me you are wiser than the man you are fighting for. We are so ignorant about ourselves we don't even know or lineages. And so the few politicians keep playing us every time. However, I wish to also let it be known that not only has he misinform the public about the root of Mr.Afoko but have shown little knowledge of a key founder of the party Mr S.D. Dombo, by putting out that he ( Mr. Dombo) comes from Lawra Namdom district. The truth is that,it was then Lawra council which comprises of the current Jirapa, Lanbusiee/kane and Namdom districts.And to being specific Mr Dombo is from now Jirapa district precisely. Besides, Mr P.Afoko is not a descendant of the Dombos' because Mr Afoko is from the Upper East Region of Ghana more specific Sandema. However, Mr Afoko is a northern brother just as Mr Dombo of blessed memories, and I do believe in my view that Mr Afoko is competent in relation to Mr Dombo and hence deserve to be given the naught. Wich I know he can and well perform. To mention, the reason for this correction is not to discredit Mr Afoko nor tribalised issues or an act of tribalism, but rather putting things right as they should be. Thank.

As far as i know,NPP is a registered political party in Ghana and every Ghanaian has the right to be a member,irrespective of tribe,so if more Akans decide to join the NPP why should it be tagged as only an Akan party,some are even going to the extend of tagging it Ashanti and Akyem Party,(what a nonsense)is anybody calling the NDC a tribal party,because more Ewes and Northerners chose to join that party?And besides why should Akans feel ashamed of belonging to a Ghanian political party,are we all not Ghanaians?
Isn`t it Regions with Akan majority the Regions which contribute more to the Gross National Product?
Why should the NPP allowe NDC`s propaganda that it is an Akan party be such a big concern to them?
I would have prefer NPP talk about what is of more concern to the Ghanaian on the street,that is basic things like Water,Electricity,Employment Healthcare,Education,Infrastruture and allowe the NDC to wallow in their propaganda.
Ghanaians who are members of the NPP,who are not Akans know the policy of the party has nothing to do with only tribe,rather is about Ghana and nothing else.
The case of Mr Afoko`s vetting can happen to any member of the party being non Akan or not.
I hope the leadership will henceforth put this tribe thing behind them,and discuss more important issues that can help relieve Ghanaians from this Hell on Earth that the NDC has lead Ghana into.
