Below is what NPP's Okyehene said, too political and one sided leaning toward the NPP:-where is his neutrality?
"Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori-Panin said he knows that the newly-elected chairmen would work hard to redeem the image of the NPP in the region.
He said the leaders of the party in the region should continue to follow in the footsteps of selfless and dedicated leaders like Dr J.B. Dankwa, D.S. Dombo and Prof Kofi Busia.
The Okyenhene stated that 85 percent of Ghanaians were suffering and there was the need to think about them".
By what means did the Okyehene draw his conclusion that 85% of Ghanaians were suffering? Did he conduct any research with any empirical evidence before drawing his conclusion or he was simply playing to the NPP's gallery? This is very shameful coming from a traditional leader supposed to be neutral. He can roam, campaign and speak for the NPP in all of his traditional enclave but his NPP will still lose in 2013.
