An understanding of the country's defense needs and the arrangements to meet them by way of policy implementation is more important.
Did you expect Kuffour to hand the nation's defense to Kwashigah- a former member of the bogus PNDC ? Yes Kwashigah ? He may have been a good person but it would simply have been unwise for Kuffour to make such a move.

Most of our leaders are well educated but lacking "commonsense", they are not good leaders and there is where in the constitution that states categorically that we should rotate the leadership. If that is the case then Ghana should go "Federal" with each region using her resources for development.
Let me give you one clear example. Every man can produce a child but not every man can be a good father. If we prefer to rotate the leadership then we should remember that we will always be walking backwards. If you are that young, why do you think JJ came and removed Limann from the presidency? The man absolutely clueless about what leadership was all about despite being well educated.
Is Mahama a leader or someone who became president by "chance"? Tweakai. We need people with Commonsense to lead. NPP is not an Akan party and remember that when the NPP delegates go to their congress to elect a leader, they choose TEN delegates from each region and it is them who decide who should lead the party.

The truth still remains that Akans constitute a greater percentage of Ghana's population; Akans are however caring, inviting and friendly. Their hospitality towards other tribes is evident by the fact that there are Zongo and Ayigbe communities in every Akan big town or city like, Koforidua, Nsawam, Asamankese, Akim Oda, Kumasi, Konongo, Takoradi etc. These communities live in peace with their families and thrive in their businesses. The NDC have tried along the years to use tribal and ethnic divisions to cause disaffection against Akans thereby creating chaos in the country. People have now gotten smart and won't buy into that crap anymore. We have to take note and open our arms to those who'd appreciate the Akan hospitality and generosity to join camps with us.
With Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawuia in the cockpit, we'll be flying high to the land of glory; come 2016.
