Please some one correct me, if I am wrong. I have researched every where and can not find any data on the Ghana Army fighting any war since Independence. The good thing is I have lived the period in question and it stands to reason that I am OLDER than Effah Dartey, so I do not remember Ghana under Kwame Nkrumah to John Mahama engaging in any war.
The first UN Peace Keeping Mission we got engaged in was in 1974 in the Middle East. Aside that, I know vividly that we have had coup d'etats in 1966, 1972,(palace coup in 1978), 1979 and 1981. We have also had the Ghana Army engaged in Ecomog in the 90s in Liberia and Sierra Leone, then lately in Mali last year.
So Effah Dartey should be cut to size. He should tell us which war he was involved in. May be the civil Nanumba v. Konkomba war in the 80s.

These misguided NPP executives must realize that Akufo Addo's personality is, and will always be, the cause of their failures. No matter what party executives do. When their leader is rejected, the whole party is rejected. And Ghanaians have been rejecting Akufo Addo since 2008. Cant' the air-heads in the NPP learn anything from this? Unless the NPP distances itself from the 3-time loser, its failure in 2016 is guaranteed. Akufo Addo is a symbol of failure.
