Their reasons for not showing up send the message across that they connived with the ruling gov't to be illegitimately win the elections. They are afraid for their evil deeds to be more exposed to the general public. Afari indeed accepted money from John Mahama to make him be elected. But time will tell! The evil that men do lives after them for ever!!!!

There simply dodging until the inevitable happens (violence) after another election.
I believe the best thing to do, is for the EC to be under parliamentary supervision.

Daily Guide should give Afari Gyan a his people privacy and respect

We all know the elections were not correct in all swnsea, and EC chairman shouldnt be involve in any future talks about electorol Comissiom, if he and Azeem knew the system wouldnt work, WHY make a decision to make the results stand in the eyes of our Supreme Court. Gyan made ALL ghanaians to see how stupid our SC is, by lying to them as if John Mahama won the 2012 elections.
All EC need before 2016 election is a new registration of all voters in their locality.
Nobody should be allowed to vote in places they dont live. You can be born in a town and as far as you dont live there you cant have a vote there. People live in Accra just vote in Ho. No wander our MPs buy their way to paliament.
Electoral Reform is something done in paliament not workshops.
Shameless John Mahama is again promising houses, when in six years has done nothing but fail promises.

IEA cannot hijack electoral reforms from EC. They can organize fora etc. However, the EC should be in the driver's seat.

I have no doubt that the IEA is bent on ursurping the powers of the EC some day in the future! Why is their primary focus on elections, when there is pleny of work to be done to strengthen and bring our ailing economy back to life? Was it not this same cabal that made prejudicial and controversial pronouncements ,even before the SC handed down its decision on the election petition!
The EC has done a marvellous job with the country`s electoral system that has become the envy of the rest of Africa. Let`s leave them alone to continue with the good work! If I had to choose between Jean Mensah`s outfit and Dr.Afari Gyan`s EC, I will have little hestitation keeping faith wuith the latter.

Why should the EC concern itself with somebody's private workshop? EC is a key state institution and must be respected and supported to lead, not to follow others.

THE ONLY REFORM THE COUNTRY NEEDS IS TO BRING CUTLASSES TO THE POLLING STATIONS ON THE VOTING DAY BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN CHALLENGE THE RESULTS. THERE ARE NO LAWS IN THE COUNTRY AND GOING TO COURT IS USELESS BECAUSE THE STUPID ATUGUBA HAS MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE SUPREME COURT HAS NO POWER TO CHANGE OR ANNUL ELECTION RESULTS. THIS IS THE ONLY REFORM THE COUNTRY NEEDS RIGHT NOW. STAY TUNED.
