Thanks for opinion raising this topic. Obviously there is something wrong in Ghanaian politics when parlimentarians are shouting for higher salaries and claving for SUV's whereas the ordinary citizen cannot make ends meet. The mentality of owning a fast car without working to merit it has plagued our nation. The judges cannot oppose this unfair practices because they themselves benifit from the same exploiting act. We see politicians speaking about everything but doing nothing. Poor parents have to kill themselves to send their kids to school and there is not even vacation employment to occupy university students during the long vacation. There is no Policy that shows that the government is tackling the unemployment problem. When we look at a country like Rwanda which went through a pogrom and the way they have come from this dark moment to build a country that has international admiration and you take Ghana which has been enjoying peace and at the same time having abundant natural resources and despite all these positive blessings cannot make any headway towards economic progress, it is simply sad. We have nothing to complain about except our selfishness. Independence has only benefited the ruling class so it is not even worthwhile!

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah started building Ghana in a way that might benefited very Ghanaian, when we look back at numerous factories he built, State farms,, workers brigade, parks and gardens, all these could have created a lot of work opportunities in the country, not to talk abot Tema harbour and dry-Dock, tema township which haused a lot of workers, the black star shipping lines, ghana Airways, one can remember that the R.R Amponsah took our Ghana Airwys plane V.C 10 to Egypt and never return to Ghana. When tema township was built with its vast factories, one can get job no sooner had he enter the city, will have a place to lodge, but today Tema township has become slums. The criminals who overthrown Nkrumah in 1966 had brought destruction to this country for good.
