A good observation but it is unfortunately too late for this postulation. The battle line have been drawn for too long a time. I am afraid the stakeholders won't listen.

national security is always at risk when the govt of the day is tribalist , amateur , incompetent , corrupt and doesnt have the confidence of the majority of the people as is the case today because of election engineering and rigging. however if they are able to reaffirm that they are willing and able to adhere to the interests of the people instead of this attitude of my time has come so now i go chop some . the govt is supposed to serve all the people and not ting that the people are to serve their selfish evil motivated agendas. the unity of the nation is in jeopardy due to the ewes , northerners, gas and some ashanti retards and the best way is to after over 50 years call for a referendum as to determine which regions wish to remain in Ghana as i am sure most Akans no longer wish to be part of this nonsense. without unity and a general awareness with integrity the country can never develop

I DONT UNDERSTAND WANEP. SOMEBODY GOES TO COURT CLAIMING THAT HE HAS BEEN ROBBED. THE COURT DEMANDS THE EVIDENCE. IT IS PROVIDED. PEOPLE ARE CROSS EXAMINED. THE JUDGES GO INTO PRIVACY AND DECIDED ON THE MATTER. WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT SOMEBODY MUST WIN AND THE OTHER LOSE. THE WINNERS CAN DECIDE TO CELEBRATE THEIR VICTORY BY GOING TO THE BEACH OR PICNIC. THE LOSER CAN GO TO THE CEMETERY TO VISIT DEAD RELATIVES. BUT SHOULD ANYONE DISTURB THE PEACE THE SPECIAL FORCES SHOULD BE CALLED TO KISS ASS. PERIOD

Provide the opportunity and support for sore losers to keep their political hopes alive, they turn around and make preposterous suggestions forgetting that, what we are dealing with here involves 'winner-takes-all' solutions.

Ideally so...it should not be a win-lose contest but in politics it is. The politicians expect to win hence the decision to pursue this case in the SC. Less of any expectation, they would have put country first and let sleeping dogs lie. On another note, this case is a test of democracy and will strengthen Ghana's democracy in the process.
WANEP is playing its NGO role to justify funding....so that is a good move...

If Mahama has not rigged the election, we would not be in court today. Blame Mahama for any political violence in Ghana.
