Francis Alluh Anlimah, the current Deputy Communications Officer for the NDC in Ellembelle, has declared his intention to contest the Communications Officer position in the upcoming constituency elections set for October 2026.
Alluh’s campaign team says his experience in the deputy role has equipped him with firsthand knowledge of managing party communications, handling public relations, and engaging with the media at the constituency level.
Speaking on why they believe he is the right candidate, supporters outlined the qualities needed to strengthen the party’s communications base in Ellembelle.
They said the ideal candidate must understand the demands of the office, including coordinating messaging and media interactions, and must have a clear platform that resonates with both party members and the wider community.
“Francis Alluh has consistently engaged with grassroots structures, attended branch meetings, and discussed his vision with local executives and opinion leaders,” a campaign spokesperson said.
The team added that Francis Alluh has prepared a campaign strategy that combines social media outreach, community events, and direct engagement with constituents to ensure the party’s message reaches voters effectively.
They also highlighted his background in communications and community engagement, noting that his time as Deputy Communications Officer has given him practical experience to build on.
“Beyond the campaign, we need someone who stays informed on local and national issues and can build strong networks with party officials, traditional leaders, and community organizations,” the spokesperson added.
Speaking during his campaign engagements, Francis Alluh promised to train more youth to become effective communicators for the party if elected.
He said this would be done through periodic workshops aimed at building capacity at the grassroots level.
He also urged the people of Ellembelle to rally behind President John Dramani Mahama and Ellembelle MP, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, to sustain the party’s development agenda in the constituency.
Alluh stated that the NDC government was undertaking several projects in Ellembelle, including the construction of schools and health facilities, as well as the reshaping of feeder roads to improve access for communities.
Campaigners say these qualities and commitments make Francis Alluh the right choice for the role.
