We do not need legislation or statute ti control, limit or curtail political campaign cost in Ghana.

The NPP has money to throw around because ex-president Kufour showed the way on how to steal, mismanage and loot from government coffers, cover your political backside/ butt and lie to an ignorant voter public with tribal loyalty than love for country. How many sane leaders in the world spend taxpayer money to create an award for themselves?

And when the late J. J. Rawlings, NPP's most hated Ghanaian wanted a thorough investigation of Kufour's government, the late Atta-Mills let ungrateful Kufour off the hook by letting the past go unchecked. That catastropic failure of the late Atta-Mills to expose the rot, infantile and abject greed of Kufour led to the coming of Akufo-Addo/ Dr. Bawumia class of thieves, liars and modern day bandits who used evenbthe Christian God's name to steal and mismanage Ghana.

Political campaign in Ghana has become sports for money; you have to spend money you do not have to win an election to steal from government to live to do it again.

The NDC and NPP can include in their respective manifesto documents a section that limits spending during intra-party elections. What we cannot do in Ghana is to have taxpayer monies suppliment political campaigns only for elected officials to pass laws that give them power to increase their salaries, perks and benefits. Voters are decieved into believing MP's are gate-keepers of our collective funds while they become rich and lord over us.
