  Building a nation is very easy. Multiple languages is the issue. Only 5 attributes develops any nation. I call it national PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline & Efficiency). So, all you need to do is to constitutionally abolish the practice of political appointments and ensure that all top government officials are elected into their positions by votes to bring competition by expertise who can performance with their skills and great ideas of no political dependency or ethnical barriers but the ability to perform and equal chance for any competent citizens to get the chance in serving in any top positions in government. Once there is no more political dependency in government, the National "PRIDE" will automatically be promoted and the nation will develop very fast. I think the Union Government proposed by Acheampong or others could have help even better than the 30 years plus of political appointments that keep Ghana in circles of poverty and nonsense. It is like most Ghanaians cannot reason at all and think that they are intelligent. I am Prophet Professor Prince Awuah David, PhD. (aka Divine Ninja of America)

  Building a nation is very easy. Multiple languages is never the issue. Only key 5 attributes are needed to develop any nation. I refer to the 5 attributes as national PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline & Efficiency). So, all that law makers need to do is to constitutionally abolish the practice of political appointments and then ensure that all top government officials are to be always elected into their positions by votes to bring competition from expertise who can performance with their top skills and great ideas of no political dependency and no ethnical barriers, but their ability to perform and equal chance for any competent citizens to have the chance in serving in any top positions of government. Once there is no more political dependency in government, the National "PRIDE" will automatically be promoted and the nation will surely develop very fast. I think that the "Union Government" concept proposed by Acheampong or others could have helped even better than the 30 years plus of political appointments that keep Ghana in circles of poverty and nonsense.   To build Ghana easily and faster, you need to promote "National PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline & Efficiency)" instead of political appointments of incompetence, corruption and failure at the end. Honestly, with only two steps from parliament (1. Abolish political appointments and 2. Require all top government officials to be elected by votes), Ghana can start developing within 4 years. It will not be a magic by by a competitive performance with great ideas from expertise of greater competence and political independency with equal chance for any citizens to serve in any top positions in government. Once elected, they can choose their deputies, assistants, vice or next in command just as the president does by choosing a running mate. Democracy is good but the practice of "Political Appointments" is the devil destroying Ghana and any poor nation that uses political appointments in governance, unless they are dictators.   You can blame almost anything else for the slow development of Ghana, but the real problem is the practice of "Political Appointments", because there are people who can perform with national PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline & Efficiency), in the absence of political challenges. Political appointment is the "winner takes all" that destroys progress every 4 or 8 years of political terms due to poverty that makes people greedy when appointed.

  Ghana is poor because most of the law makers are not intelligent. If not so, then they would see that "Political Appointments" is the roots of failure in Ghana and would constitutionally abolish the practicing political and require all top government officials to be elected by votes which would competent citizens with top expertise and great innovative ideas from all over the world and every part of Ghana to perform and expedite national development by national PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline and Efficiency). It tells me that late president Acheampong had a great idea to fight hos own corruption. Patriotism makes citizens love their nation to protect it, Readiness prepares citizens to perform with real commitments, Intelligence allows citizens understand the world, national competition and ability to reason faster, Discipline allows citizens to do the right things and do things well or the right ways, Efficiency allow the nation to generate more revenue by global competition based on the skills and abilities of the citizens.   Many culturally big nations never evolved with even 4 languages, which made their transition easy. African countries started their journey already with a huge baggage of troubles.

  All the tribes u mentioned are Akans and have different dialect but same people..a United Akans is a force that nobody can break but now it’s too late because we have way too many tribes..it was Kwame Nkrumah’s ideologies and we need to deal with it..Accra was made the capital and so Akans should have merge with GA’s and that’s it..since GA’s were already in Accra so Akans shoukd have United with GA’s and that’s it..in Ghana as we speak now, there are some tribes that are not interested in development of their communities, all they care about is to see their tribesmen In political power..so how do u reason whoch this kind of people for development

  I agree with Kwesi Pratt 100%..too many tribes in Ghana is the reason why our country is struggling and finding it difficult to develop..I repeat Ghana would have developed so fast if it’ was purely Akan state..I said this 8years ago under nana Addo’s govt, 1000years to Come, this same message will stand..Akans have the same culture, mentality, hustling spirit, shared values etc..Kwame Nkrumah is the greatest African politician no doubt but one of his biggest mistakes is one Africa..because Africa has way too May tribes to understand each other..because we are scared to speak the truth for the fear of offending some tribes..too many tribes in a country destroys it..that’s why no Africa country has been able to stand on it feet and develop ..if u go to Europe, some Countries are less than 5million yet they are fully developed because they have the same ethnicity or tribe and speak same language..people who are from
