The disrespectful Assafuah inferred that he he and the first deputy speaker were all parliamentarians and so the latter could not disrespect him. Look, this is not the first time these miserable losers did disrespect the Speaker. The chair is the symbol of authority and Hon Ahiafor was the one elected to sit in there, not Assafuah. Assafuah, who some time ago even lied that President Mahama had hired a foreign jet and was out of the country, must obey authority and not equate himself to the personality in the chair. His shouts and the words that came from his lips showed a clear plan to dishonour Hon Ahiaffor. I am afraid this unruly conduct coming from a member of Parliament has been swept under the carpet. The rules are clear as spelt out in the Standing Orders of the House. The Speaker asked Assafuah to retract a statement. He refused and started with his invectives. When he realised the Speaker was moving on with other directives, Assafuah said 'I retract' and continued standing and yelling at the Speaker. Hey, are these NPP hoodlums democratic or they are nation wreckers? I pray soon, their electorates will abandone them and the arrogance inside them will dissipate. Assafuah should tell us what has been the achievement of the NPP. What on earth are they fighting for trying to discredit every good thing happening in the country? Disrespect, lies, arrogance are disdainful and such traits will surely keep these miserable and dwindling minority in opposition for decades.
