Any cursory observer of the bank NIB will noticed that any time the NPP is in power, even before 2000 elections when their protege Charles Gyimah was in charge till date, the NIB begins to suffer seriously from liquidity and management issues simply due to the gross abuse and misuse of the bank resources as a proxy npp property or asset hence the bank always bleeds badly under every NPP administration. And the they change the bank name to conflicts with the intelligence Unit so as to conceal their perennial criminally use of the the bank resources to the point they had wanted to sell it to themselves of criminal accomplices..
Just imagine that just after only a year in government the fortunes of the bank had already showing in incredible levels of profitability unlike the dire situation it was during the Kuffour and Nana Addo's NPP administration..
And so the name change is positive to correct the gross criminality the npp have been conducting at the bank and properly correct the continuing confusion the npp left us with a two major national institutions bearing the same name: NIB, NIB..
