  Leave this reparatory justice issue and concentrate on solving Africa's problems.Who are going to be paid the reparatory monies? Is it not true that colonialism brought some good things to Africa? Education,a common language,law, relgion,etc,etc. African leaders should stop chasing reparatory justice and concentrate on solving Africa's problems that are undermining the development of African countries. So many African countries are being controlled by their former colonial masters and many africans want colonial rule to return to Africa. Why? Because of the incompetence of most present and past african leaders. African leaders have so far proved to be incapable of solving their nations' problems..

  yes, evil happened but these same western powers were the ones who put an end to this evil act. name any civilization that didnt practice slave trade? it existed even before the colonialists came. we know the Asantes cut the limbs with which the slave used dried out and exposed bones to make music for the royals.

  Are the Ghanaians or middlemen who engaged in slave trade also going to pay reparations? Even after the reparations are paid, how are they going to be distributed? If the country gets the money, that will be unfair because the slaves didn't leave as a nation. They left individually. Will they trace the ancestors of slaves who are still in Africa? These looks like a way to make the white man guilty and take more money. I don't think it's fair to take tax payer's money for a crime they did not commit.
