For him to say he expected kenkey price should have been 2 cedis and not still be 5 cedis because inflation has dropped to around 6%. Please reduction in inflation is not reduction in prices but reduction in the rate of increase in prices. So what should have occurred is that kenkey price should have risen from 5 cedis to 5.3cedis, but it is still at 5 cedis. Again if inflation has been around 24% as it was in 2024 the price of kenkey should have been 6.2 cedis. So Nsafoa, Ghanaians are better off.
