It's so embarrassing for a govt to discuss sanitary pads in Parliament , it shows how poor the citizens are.Create jobs for parents to get money to buy it themselves. A PhD holder shd not be discussing this in this century.

@Kweku Tee. What is shameful about discussing sanitary pads in parliament? Don't remove panties? I suspect you are even one of those men who use the mouths as vacuum cleaners. Bawumia was even proud to talk about building toilets, a job that should be done by DCEs and Assembly men.
Your Akufo Addo and Bawumia and your NPP left office less than 1 year ago. If they had provided the jobs you would not be making this argument. They were rather busy promising free everything.

Why should the government get involved in providing sanitary pads? We have developed a very harmful dependency mentality and have pushed our personal responsibilities and accountability unto others. How about toilet papers? Should the government provide toilet papers to every Ghanaian? We should teach our children to take care of their personal hygiene rather than depending on the government. This is one reason the youth feels entitled and are unable to think and act appropriately. Stop the stupid sanitary pads politics.

In 21st century Ghana should sanitary pad become major government policy? This should be an NGO or local government policy.

The numbers seem to be cooked. Let the Auditor General perform an audit to verify the numbers provided by the Deputy Minister. There is absolutely something fishy with the numbers, especially the Primary Five to JSS. Is the government supposed to be caring for kids with are still living at home with their parents? Where is parental responsibility?

Don't worry yourself Dr. Apaak, you've already booked your invitation to EOCO from 2029. You can't foolishly spend 292 million Ghana cedis on sanitary pads and expect us to keep quiet. You'll surely be made to account for it
