I really want peace after all elections because no MP will be feeding you and your family and be paying your bills for you. That is true.
There should be no nonsense after the election results have been declared because for all you know, both NPP and NDC from that Electoral area may even come from the same family. Do you need to go ahead and follow Politicians and play any stupidity? Damn you, Politicians care about themselves, families, and friends and acquaintances first. If your party lost, consider that as part of the Political game and go on with your work.

If NPP do not change their strategies of matching boots for boots tactics, they should forget 2028 elections. Because that strategy is not working. These days, people are little educated at least to junior secondary schools. So those old tactics of telling lies and keep saying it to become true won’t work. Constructive criticism should be the way, not smears and lies about your opponent.

Granted that the NPP has even 20 MPs in parliament today it will not make any news. This is because in 1992 when the NPP boycotted the parliamentary elections the NDC were the only members in the house and did all what they wanted and continued the majority side of the house until December 1996 when the numbers of the NPP appreciated in parliament. Over the years bye-elections in Ghana had been mostly won by the ruling government. So it is not news at all. When NPP was in power after it won the 2000 elections, the NPP won the Bimbimla Constituency bye-elections a seat then occupied by Ibn Chambers of the NDC. So mostly bye-elections mostly favor the ruling government because of certain factors such heavy votes buying among others.

The NPP members are yet to realise the magnitude of the displeasure Ghanaians have against their unprecedented corruption and misrule. They continue to dwell in their outdated 1966 politics of deceit. They must understand that Ghanaians are discerning and have rejected their party for good.
It is time for them to accept reality, reflect on their eight years of misgovernance, and put an end to their blatant propaganda and senseless criticisms against President Mahama’s unprecedented record of good and accountable governance. Ghanaians see their constant lies and unfounded attacks as insults to their intelligence.
For this reason, the NPP should retreat and hibernate to ponder over their heinous sins against Mother Ghana—perhaps for about two decades—and even consider changing their party’s name before daring to test their acceptability again. They should be reminded that the 38.2% they managed to secure in the 2024 elections was only because they rigged it while in power. Without that, they would have scored below 20%.
