The current IGP ought to proceed on leave as soon as his terminal leave commences for someone else to take over to address the insecurity issues.

H.E. President John Dramani Mahama and his young government are doing a fantastic job and that has given every critical thinker hope of a brighter future.

The Finance Minister, BoG Governor are astute when it comes to delivering on their jobs. Ministers so far so good are doing great jobs. We expect the MMDCE’ to replicate what is happening.

I believe every critical thinking being within the Ghana Police Service knows very well that the current IGP Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohonu only wanted to be referred to as an IGP but in reality didn’t qualify for the job.
Why because every leader ought to understand the organizational culture and critically address organizational needs by exploring need assessment techniques to improve upon existing structures.
However he doesn’t have the expertise to do that.

Going forward I think the appointing authority ought to consider critically the qualifications of people before handing over such sensitive positions to them.

H.E. Mr. President should eschew any friendship relationship between the himself and the current IGP and relieve him as soon as possible. We’ve all seen that he is not ripe for the job. Besides all who are due for retirement should be made to exit for fresh minds to take over and help change the current dynamics.
