If NPP really wants to come back to power, fresh elections must be held for officers at all levels, starting from the base up to the top. The same executives that nominated officials under Nana Akufo Addo should go through another elections after which an election for the presidential candidate can take place. It will be in their own interest to do that else the party cannot survive. If the process is started now, it'll be completed by March 2026 and then by June 2026, they can have the flagbearer elections. In that case whoever is selected will have two and a half years to campaign. This same crop of delegates should not vote for a flagbearer.
Why can't the NPP open up the electoral base by allowing all card bearing members in good standing to constitute the electoral college? Why should the electoral base be restricted to just a few handpicked delegates at the constituency level? We cannot do the same things the same way and expect different results. Let the 'wise' listen!!!
