Laws are made for the benefit of man. Man is not made to benefit or to justify laws - even when it has become abundantly clear that some laws that are formulated years, decades and even centuries ago, have become disadvantagious, moot and counter-productive for the contemporary benefit of society - especially when considered that, laws are generally made by and implemented by the political and middle class elite who have no understanding and sensitivities at all for for the living conditions of the overwhelming numbers of the masses.

President Mahama has done well by putting together some kind of constitutional review body which if I am right, is meant to review, alter and/or expunge laws in the constitution which are deemed to be unfavorable to the present and future development needs of the country. I am very skeptical of some of the members and leadership of that body but let us see what they come up with at the end of the day.
