What sensible people would do is to find out if the security agencies have the legal basis to arrest him. If they do, you make sure he is treated legally and make sure the government doesn’t abuse its power. This is how responsible party behaves and not to cry foul and cause chaos every time a criminal member is arrested. Should the government stop investigating and apprehending people, and bringing them to justice? No.
