This is the reason why the CJ should not be removed because once you set a precedent the next administration will do the same. He was for capping the supreme court numbers but NPP did it and so he will do it too. In the same way, he is removing the CJ and when NPP comes to power, they will also find a reason to remove the CJ at the time. Then the judiciary sinks deeper into partisan politics which will mean the end of the rule of law and the 4th Republic because a military person will find reason to do a coup. We are on a slippery slope. God help us.
