Indeed "Let common sense prevail". The other day I saw the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) on Youtube complaining about the state of the environment surrounding the Black Star Square and the Independence Arch. In the video she addressed a group of people who normally photograph tourists at the site. According to the CEO the lawns surrounding the Arch are poorly maintained with trash everywhere. She then appealed to the photographers to keep the place clean and well maintained. When I saw the video I asked myself why should maintaining the area be the responsibility of the photographers? How sustainable is that? Where are the workers who are on a monthly salary employed by "Parks and Gardens". Where are they? Is it also the responsibility of the photographers to remove dead branches on the palm trees lining the walkway to the Arch? Perhaps I missed the point but I could not see any sense in what the CEO said. Why was she acquising the photographers and not the Department of "Parks and Gardens" for not doing their job in keeping the area clean? I fully agree with Mr. Julius Debrah: "Let common sense prevail".

@Francis. I also saw that video and I can not agree with you more. The photograhers also complained that there are no washrooms any where near for the tourists.
