I find it difficult to understand why they can maintain the equipments they have at their private hospitals but can't take care of the ones that belong to the state. The rot at TTH is too much.

The fact that the minister of health saw the need to donate some supplies to the TTH after flexing his unnecessary muscles in front of a crowd of people goes to confirm that the hospital indeed lack supplies.
A minister of state has to be diplomatic during his interactions with workers and he cannot just go and prove that he has the power to do anything.
If the system is broken down, fix it but do not release your frustration on workers who have nothing to work with. Minister Akando should do the needful by apologizing to the hospital staff and reinstate the dismissed CEO with immediate effect. The Medical doctors and auxiliary personnel must hold on to their strike until the minister apologizes.
