  The Akkufo-Addo government was infested with people with no experience in government holding sensitive and critical portfolios like Amoako-Atta, Ofori-Atta whose only qualifications for the positions were their clan affiliation as Akyims plus their hyphenated names with "Atta" at the end of it. The ymay have some impressive academic qualifications. nevertheless, they lacked the required experience to handle such very important positions. Secondly, people like Osafo-Marfo was just an opportunist who became important with his position because he was an Akyim. Yes, he too had academic qualification, but not capable of handling the position he was made to hold. So the government started on a shaky note with all these inexperienced individuals who turned out to be professional looters. Akkufo-Addo himself was incompetent, insensitive and did not know what he was doing. He had the largest ministerial appointments and ended up collapsing the economy. If the allegation that the ECG was on life-support to the tune of 2.5 billion cedis, then that gives credence to the incompetence and missteps of this government.

  John Mahama upon leaving power, signed a power agreement that saddled Ghana with a yearly debt of $500million and NPP has been making that payment since 2017 so, just do the math. Mahama is back and we will see how he will deal with that debt. $500million since 2017 is $4billion paid to those Mahama entered into that agreement and do you the impact of $4billion on our fragile economy?

  That said, the result of every election is two, and that is win or lose so, NPP has lost the election which does not mean the party has ceased to exist. NDC was in power from 2012-2016 and were they able to address the unemployment problem facing the country, if not, why do some Ghanaians think that they can do it now.
  
  The 1D1F policy cannot address the huge unemployment in Ghana because there is not a time in our history that we have zero unemployment so, those who are see the 1D1F as failure should wait for the man who told Ghanaians that he is not a magician to provide jobs for them, or he has mastered the act of conjuring jobs from the blue skies, right.
