The laws of this country frown on Chiefs engaging in partisan politics but this Chief constantly and consistently engages in such acts with impunity. In 2009, after former president Kuffour made him a board member of Bank Of Ghana and subsequently prevailed upon Valco to release their lands for the Asogli Plants, he went ahead to describe former President Kuffour's era as an era where Voltarians were declared as second class citizens. How wicked can one be?. Most loans contracted by the then Mills and Mahama's administration were undertaken by SAS, a company owned by Togbe Afede. Therefore this praise singing is no news. Let not forget that Akuffo Addo's administration made him the board chairman of NIB Bank and so he was part and parcel of this government and enjoyed benefits. Other Chiefs shall also take a cue from this commentary,instead of remaining neutral. This is sad and wicked.

For example have you forgotten that he refused to meet a group of Chiefs representing the Volta Region House of Chiefs when they asked to him to discuss some pending issues? Will he do that if the request had come from the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs? Furthermore, during his Presidency, a group of Paramount Chiefs from the Volta Region traveled to China to attract Chinese Companies to invest in Ghana. On their arrival the Chiefs were not welcomed by our Ambassador and the Ghana Embassy. No reception was organized in their honor to welcome them to China. This happened during Kufuor's time as President of Ghana. Again will this happen if it were to be a group of Paramount Chiefs from the Ashanti region? In case you have forgotten some of these
happenings, Voltarians have not. Kufuor was a tribalistic President that was why the Embassy behaved as they did without consequences.

The royalties paid to your overlord are used in hiring private jets for trips to England and organizing extravagant parties at Manhyia whilst you people live in abject poverty. Furthermore, your greed for the natural resources in the Ashanti region have led to the destruction of your environment through galamsey.
