Exactly. Last election results were declared by pre-recorded video. Unfortunately for the EC boss, the recording was made in the evening but collation extended to the following day. In the morning, she greeted the whole nation with "Good evening". Good evening at 11 am oooo, but Supreme Court saw nothing wrong.
Tarkwa seat was lost in 2000 but under the barrel of the gun, they went to recount ballots at the collation center five times. Four times, NDC won. When the fifth count was declared in favour of NPP recounting stopped! She must be made to announce to the whole nation that ballots counting at collation centres is illegal. At polling stations, all voters around are witnesses to the figures so those figures are the true reliable authentic results. Any recounting elsewhere is illegal. She should say tha to all Ghanaians

What did Jean Mensah say or do about the NPP high ranking member who openly bribed an EC agent at Asin North? Nothing. Who will then trust the EC , not even the guy who bribed the agent.

if it’s free and fair why not……you can’t rig elections and expect the other party to accept results

NO RECOUNTING AT COLLATION CENTERS
If only NPP candidates losing will not be requesting for recounting of ballots after collation, then there is no problem,
When there are no issues coming from polling stations, there is no need to recount votes at collation centres. Collation is adding up figures coming from pink sheets and totalling them.
No winner asks for a recount so anybody requesting recount has indeed , lost.
if somebody disputtes the results, recollate, don;t recount
The Electoral Commissioner should declare this to every electoral officer.

Tell this idiot of an EC chair that her actions will determine whether the results of the polls should be accepted. How many times did she not call different results for the recent presidential polls? How can we live in a country like this. She is lucky that the NDC is a disciplined and peaceful party. Telling us to accept the outcome of the polls. Nonsense. If she dares manipulate the results of the polls this year she will see where she will land. Nonsense.
EC should also be ready to accept the outcome of the election. 1 year ago
We urge the EC to also accept the outcome of the election without manipulations and after-election propositions.
