Amidu should shut the f.. K up. The Chief Justice has a Team and did not out of her way take the decision to close the courts. If Amidu is dead, he should rest peacefully in his grave. Everyday this, everyday that. Why can't a Northerner be in an influencial position and remain calm, without always seeking attention? There is one other group notorious for that kind of behaviour but I not mention any name. No wonder they vote the same way. Look at Dormelovo and you will know what I am talking about. I REMEMBER THE “MONTIE 3” ATTEMPTED KIDNAP ON THE FORMER CHIEF JUSTICE. ( MRS THEODORE
WHEN WILL THE NDC ADHERE TO THE ROLE OF THE JUDICIARY IN A DEMOCRATIC DISPENSATION?
The NDC has always been on the collision course with the Judiciary. It didn’t start from today. It started when that criminal Jeremiah John Rawlings seized power and overthrew a democratically elected government in 1981. He first set aside the judiciary and established his kangaroo courts in the country and he called that illegal court “ the People’s Tribunal. After he killed the three High Judges in 1982. And as if that’s not enough, do you also how John Bull Mahama’s administration trampled down the Judiciary after the supreme court ruled in favor of his 2012 electoral victory over Akufo-Addo?
Shortly after that the criminal kingpin Mahama called the bluffs on the Supreme Court by allowing his thugs “ those Montie 3 morons to threaten the then Chief Justice Mrs Theodora Woods; that “they would seize her and marry her by force”. Then after the Supreme Court convicted those three morons and sentenced them to serve six months jail time, John Mahama went ahead and released them with executive orders. He pardoned them against the advice of almost all stake holders, especially the BAR association. the Ghana Legal Council among many others.
Even at the time most of the Justices at the Supreme Court were his appointees he refused to give them the due respect, when will the NDC allow the Judiciary to undertake their duties without fear of favor or interference?

You don’t understand Amidu’s stance my friend. He is not totally against the closure of the courts. Akidi argued that they chief Justice should have closed all courts in conflict zones but the lady did the opposite. The War is between Kusasi and Mamprusi, and the CJ has been selective. Any area ( Bolgatanga, Zebilla , Garu and Bawku)she knows Kusasi people live, she closes the court there whether there is war there or not. There is no conflict at all in Bolgatanga and Zebilla but why has the courts there been closed?? However , Walewale and Nalerigu where Mamprusi, the tribe of Vice President Bawumia live, there is mass killing,Buses are stopped and people get killed. The Chief Justice is aware of the violence at these places but failed to close the courts there. Is this not injustice?? She is doing the bidding of the NPP. Unfit Judge who should not head the Judiciary. God will punish all who preach virtues but practice vices .

Money that could be used to develop Bawku and its environs? So you think closing if the courts is a priority of yours instead of getting peace so the courts can function properly? The Chief Justice actions have raised serious questions about her understanding of her constitutional responsibilities and her impartiality. Firstly, her decision to close and then selectively reopen courts without a clear and rational explanation reflects a disregard for judicial independence, a cornerstone of the constitution which mandates that justice be administered in an unbiased manner. Such actions not only undermine the trust in judicial impartiality but also hint at potential susceptibility to external pressures, which is antithetical to the ethos of judicial conduct. Moreover, the Chief Justice's lack of knowledge about the geographical and historical contexts within which she is expected to operate has resulted in decisions that seem arbitrary and capricious. This not only betrays a concerning disconnection from the realities of the regions affected by her rulings but also suggests incompetence in fulfilling the administrative duties of her role. The Chief Justice, Araba's actions have consequently cast a long shadow over the judiciary, influencing the empaneling of justices and affecting the overall integrity of judicial proceedings. This is detrimental to the principle of justice emanating from the people, as enshrined in the constitution. Moreover, the absence of transparency and consistency in her directives contributes to a perception of bias and undermines the judiciary's role as a fair arbiter of the law. In the face of these substantial missteps, her continuing in office will irreparably harm the credibility and effectiveness of the judiciary, thereby justifying calls for her resignation to uphold the integrity and independence of the judicial system.

Public officials sometimes act like they have overall authority over their people. Being a leader does not give full authority to anyone to use it indiscriminately. I second Martin Amidu this time around. We have seen a couple of CJs in Ghana since the establishment / beginning of the Fourth Republic Constitution, and the behaviors or characters of each person. This CJ should know that she is not above the people and should be very considerate in her actions. Those courts shouldn’t be closed. If that is the case, then the police or the military bases should also be closed. It is bad to move away institutions from the the areas or region.

Nana Konadu is silently regretting aligning with Bonsam Akuffo Addo to secretly inject Rawlings to kill him. Akuffo Addo saw Rawlings as a threat to his government's popularity and feared the unprecedented corruption that would characterize his government if Rawlings remained alive. He believed he had created the illusion of being non-corrupt to deceive Rawlings for his support, even against his own party. Therefore, when Akuffo Addo heard that Rawlings was down with COVID, he sent his emissaries to have him injected and removed from his way. Many secrets will come to light when he leaves office. Do you know why Martin Amidu resigned immediately after Rawlings was killed by the injectable substance? Do you know that immediately upon his death some people were arrested and later released?
