This Kwamena Duncan is talking nonsense. He is rather blaming the NDC instead of blaming the useless Supreme Court justices and Afenyo Markins. It appears Akuffo Addo has put majority of Ghanaians especially the intellectuals and academics on drugs. They all refused to think. I dare anyone to tell me which part of the constitution that gives the power for an unelected Supreme Court to ask parliament to stand down in the performance of their constitutional duties? Our lawyers are just following these matemeho ideologues blindly. The Supreme Court's job is to interpret the constitution NOT to give orders. Where in the constitution the supreme court was given the power to injuct an organ of state for doing their constitutional duties? I really wouldn't mind if they are doing their jobs properly. Akuffo Addo just packed the courts with the matemeho ideologues who are very partisan. They don't interpret the laws but they are practicing politics. Who watches the watchman? If they go wrong, who corrects them? They rule once that a birth certificate cannot be used to determine nationality or citizenship. This is not true. How do Ghanaian women get citizenship for their children in America and Europe? In Gyekye Quayson's lawsuit, they ruled that Gyekye Quayson didn't qualify to be an MP which was not true. Article 94(2)a stated that you cannot be an MP in Ghana if you owe allegiance to another country. Gyekye Quayson was a Ghanaian in November 2020 and took his oath of office as MP on January 7, 2021. What disqualified Gyekye Quayson as MP? Akuffo Addo and that stupid boy Godfred Dame spent millions If not billions of taxpayers money fighting this case in court and holding bye elections which they lost. The current case of the four MPs is another bizarre one. The MPs were SACKED, repeat SACKED from their respective parties and they are standing as independent candidates. Article 97(1) g. h states that if you no longer represent the party that took you to parliament, you SHALL vacate your seat. What is there for any useless Supreme Court justice to interpret? The most annoying aspect is that, we all know these so called justices are playing politics instead of rule of law and we are blaming NDC. Is this madness or what?
