From my lay man view when a seat is declared vacant there must be a bye elections. So by what the speaker has done is there going to be a bye elections. I can see that the speaker acted out frustration.

If the independent MP decides to join the NDC side the table will turn. Again if two NPP MPs die today NDC will the Majority. It is important to educate ourselves properly on pariamentary issues. In the current Parliament the possibility of Minority becoming the Majority is very high.
