The disjunction at the base of Ghanas political economy is to either harness national resource to develop the nation; or, enable the rich and powerful to achieve ownership over the wealth of the nation. The two positions contradict each other. Today the problem is that the rules to keep the two ideologies apart are being torn to shreds. Simple. We need wise leadership to prevent blowups.
