  Most Ghanaians have been "magicians" for decades. They are magicians when they live in Ghana and they are magicians when they travel abroad.
  As they say. IT IS BY HIS GRACE ALONE.
  Ghanaians are surviving and even thriving in spite of the daily challenges of making ends meet, in spite of bad leadership. And for those living abroad they are surviving and even thriving in spite of facing constant discrimination from citizens of the host country and other ethnic minorities. Many Diasporans whether Ghanaian or other foreign nationalities often have to work harder and longer and under more difficult conditions for less money.
  YET MANY END UP DOING WELL IN SPITE OF THESE HURDLES BECAUSE OF THEIR SHEER DETERMINATION, TENACITY, INTEGRITY,THEIR ABILITY TO OVERCOME SETBACKS ,LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES, BEING COURAGEOUS AND HAVING DISCIPLINE. They end up doing well because they live frugally (economize) delay gratification (i.e delay enjoyment ) so that they can build their savings , invest and learn new skill sets which lead to higher income. Many others end perpetually broke, in constant want because they have never learned or acquired these extremely important character traits. These failures have never learned to be disciplined or exert themselves in any significant way and often blame others for their lack of progress.
