Prof Adei spike the truth. Many, many Ghanaian workers are lazy. They steal in public service and their sabotage behaviour collapses dtat enterprises. In private business when there are engaged, they are not honest. They pilfer and loot until the business collapses. In construction work Togolese artisans care honest to a fault. The produce quality work in Tiling, POP, carpentry, masonry and many more. Come to Ho and see how Togolese artisans in tiling are redoing bikes laid by Ghanaian tilers. Shoddy work now most Ghanaian tilers.

Although I'm not one of Prof Addae's admirers but he made a case for himself of conducting a research into the subject matter and arrived at his conclusion. So a rebuttal must come from a scientific point of view.
Nonetheless, it's a common knowledge Togolese workers have good work ethics than their Ghanaian counterparts. Therefore, this is the time leaders of labour groups in the country must own up to the challenge and fix things rather than only going to town just to flex muscle.

Is Prof Adei an American? His himself is a thief. He started building his wealth through thievery and greed to this level. He knows exactly what he is talking about. Unfortunately he failed to reason that he cannot put all Ghanaian workers under the same descriptive umbrella. The generalization is without basis, the same way we have responsible well minded professors in Ghana who are not like him, there are responsible Ghanaian workers as well. He must be made to understand that he is a professor only in his field of study and not an expert in every field.

Let me tell you something:
I have a friend who came down from Austria with her husband to create a wonderful business work environment in Accra.
When she laid down her plan, I warned her seriously, not only about Ghanaians' attitude to work, but also the age-long urge to quick money, theft and enviousness, backed by the intentional ability to destroy others. Instead, I advised her about different business line that doesn't involved too many employees until she could ascertain she had the right people. She thought I was joking.
Her business picked well and she was all smiles, telling me she was on a smooth rail. I wished her well. Just two years after, she's back in Austria, all her business on the ground, all the investment gone. All she had to show was her tears. She had relocated home and didn't think she would be in the West ever again.
Do I sympathize with her.
I lived in Tema, and had Uncles who had companies and Uncles who worked within managements of other companies; as a student, I worked to buy materials I needed for school and was witness to the devastation within the industrial sector due to rampant stealing and very poor business acumen and lack of management oversight.
Be responsible for once and accept Ghanaians are bad workers.
This is the second time I am saying this: I sent parcels to Senegal, Mauritania, Benin and Ghana. No one in Ghana received theirs despite it went to various regions. Meanwhile, in Senegal, some were delivered directly to the home addresses, and those in Benin and Mauritania all receive theirs!

Ghana is an expensive place to live in.
This expensive tag has been self inflicted because we keep down playing our country and allows foreigners to came in first with lucrative offers but soon put snares around our necks.
When you keep talking your people and country down, it has serious replications.
I believe encouraging and best remuneration alongside better regulations and sacrifices from those in charge is key.

Is the TUC angry at Professor Adei for saying what most entrepreneurs and employers have said about the lazy attitude of the Ghanaian workers. TUC did not condemn Ghanaians employers who said the same thing but it had singled out professor Adei for reasons best known to them .
The only way to make Ghana workers serious is to pay them by hours where they clock in and out and during their break times. Transportation is an issue which affects the attendance of workers but that can be taken into consideration when the workers are made to clock in their times in and out of work. Some workers take breaks and do not return to work after their break. Every establishment must have rules governing the conduct and productivity of workers which must be enforced by supervisors. Some workers even consume alcohol during their break and go back to work. This affects productivity. The Ghanaian attitude towards work must change . Employers must also give incentives for hard work.

The TUC must shut up with their ego. It is a FACT that the average public or civil servant attitude towards work is nothing good to write about. Things are at standstill unless money changes hands. They are lazy, unproductive and careless. When was the last time TUC conducted or even impressed PSC to conduct customer service feedback to know how satisfied felt about services rendered. They’ve normalized and regularized bribery, nepotism etc. This act has even eaten into other trades where people charge you for services only to abscond. Does the TUC genuinely believe that Ghanaian workers are hardworking??? Or is this another episode of blanket statement to deny and show their existence? Let me say it again, Ghanaian workers are very lazy, very and strong reforms are needed to change the narrative.

I dislike this naughty professor for his nauseating hypocrisy and tribalism but on this one he's spot on. Ghanaian workers are damn lazy. Togolese and other West Africans have completely taken over the building industry.
This one de33, it's true. Togolese people have better work ethics. Reason why we like to hate them as our French teachers.
Ghanaians are worthless retarded brainless stinky pigs.
Contrary to popular belief, Germany colonized Togo, not France. They became French-speaking right before their independence after Germany lost WWII. The workers are in a league of their own. Ver
