NDC don't read the constitution to know the mandate of the EC. They think political parties dictate how EC operates. Their posture isn't even surprising. If we were to follow the caprices of the NDC we would still be using opaque ballot boxes and doing manual transition of results. We wouldn't have biometric verification. They claim to be social democrats but they haven't demonstrated an iota of socialism beyond the sloganeering. It's sad many haven't realized that no NDC government in the fourth republic has ever improved our economy better than what they inherited. Rawlings landed us in HIPC state. Kuffour took us back to economic prosperity. John Dramani took us back to IMF, dumsor, and big economic mess. What he left alone was a major challenge to fix. Akufo-Ado still managed to implement policies like freeSHS, digitization, 1D1F, etc and was on track to prosperity but for covid. Today we are in IMF but the reasons are more meaningful than 2013 when we had no covid or global insecurity and economic meltdown. The John Dramani IMF was mainly due to mismanagent of a strong economy they inherited. In the case of Akufo-Ado if mismanagent is part of the problem, it's definitely not the only or major problem. You can't say Akufo-Ado mismanaged a dead economy he inherited from a man who described himself as a "Dead goat". If a patient who came to hospital healthy is later handed over in life support from his doctor to a new doctor, how do you blame the new one of the situation which already existed and think the former doctor is the one who knows the cure? Do we think logically at all as a country? Every thing shows Akufo-Ado is more transformationational than John Dramani. Can you see the difference?
