A video of the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, playfully mocking presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has surfaced online.
In the video, Sam George, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, is seen engaging in a light-hearted conversation with Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central and a contestant in the just ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
During the exchange, Sam George jokingly referred to Kennedy Agyapong as “President 2045,” suggesting that his presidential ambition may take some time to materialize.
He further teased that when Kennedy Agyapong speaks, members of the NPP do not listen to him.
“President 2045. When Kennedy Agyapong speaks the truth, you people don’t listen to him. Bawumia doesn’t listen to him… Ken oo Ken,” he said in the video.
Kennedy Agyapong contested the NPP presidential primaries held on January 31, 2026, alongside four other candidates.
However, he lost the race to former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who was subsequently elected as the NPP’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
