Nketia would have been a ‘super human’ if NDC had won 2016 polls - Former MP

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia would have transformed himself into a super human if the party had won power to steer affairs of the country for another four years a former lawmaker alleges.

According to NDC former Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North Dede Aboakye, the General Secretary and other officers of the party were behaving extraordinarily making it impossible to reproach their administration even in cases where they went wrong.

The former MP revealed on Kumasi-based Boss Fm that persons close to him including his in-laws did not vote for NDC in the last general after persuading them to because of the arrogant postures of some party officials.

Aboakye Dede stated that the current crop of leadership in the party including former Majority Leader in Parliament, S.K. Bagbin are to blame for putting the NDC into what he described as “political comma”.

According to him, Mr. Bagbin’s ‘ mouth was sealed’ with an appointment after criticizing President Mahama’s leadership which now sees the party out of government.

The former MP has started campaigning against the General Secretary and other officers who want to seek re-election asking delegates to reject them if members desire to see a return of the NDC government.
