Nana Addo should call Mahama and concede defeat

Mr. Hope Avorgah, a peace campaigner is urging Nana Akufo-Addo to consider the peace accord signed in Kumasi and concede defeat to ensure peace in the country.

He said the New Patriotic Party’s Flag bearer’s allusion to peace could only be meaningful if he keeps to the accord he signed in the presence of Asantehene and accept the results of the 2012 elections which he is contesting at the Supreme Court.

Mr. Avorgah in a press statement disclosed that God had given him a revelation on the outcome of the elections on November 2, 2012, that President John Mahama was going to become victorious, which was confirmed by the results declared by the Electoral Commission.

“God in His own wisdom showed me how the results of Ghana’s elections in 2012 would be and how well He had decorated President Mahama,” he said.

He said God instructed him to tell Nana Addo to call President Mahama and concede defeat to him; and that he could not keep this revelation to himself so was embarking on a campaign to spread the message of peace.

He stated that Nana Addo’s concession of defeat would enhance his image internally and in the world, making him a great statesman.

The NPP flagbearer and two others are contesting the results of the December 2012 elections which they allege were rigged to favor President John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.

The petition is currently being heard by nine member judging panel constituted by the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Georgina Theodora Wood, to deal with election issues.
