An aspiring parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Madina Constituency, Mr Francis-Xavier Sosu, has appealed to the delegates of the party to vote for him.

This will be the third time the human rights lawyer is contesting the NDC’s primaries within the Madina constituency.

In an interview with Kwabena Prah (The Don) on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM on Tuesday, 20 August 2019, Mr Sosu said his track record as a giver of justice to the poor, puts him ahead of his competitors in the race.

“I have what it takes to be the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Madina constituency,” he said, adding: “Everybody knows my background as a lawyer and as someone who fights for the rights of the ordinary persons in the society."

“I believe I'll win the seat for the NDC and, so, I appeal to the delegates to vote for me,” he stressed.

The Madina seat is currently occupied by Abubakar Boniface Siddique of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
