Major Mahama’s mother consoles daughter-in-law

Monday was exactly a week news was reported of the lynching of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama.

The passing of the Captain has gained national attention due to the issues surrounding his death.

The killing and many other matters related to the death of the Captain have been in the news for a while now.

Yesterday, the family of the Captain marked the One week celebration in their family house.

The Captain, since his passing has been promoted to the position of a Major as an honor.

During the solemn service, the mother of the Captain sat beside the Captain’s wife and was seen consoling her.

The family of the deceased Major has set June 9, 2017 as the date for the final funeral rites of their son. He will be buried at the Military cemetary in Accra.

A Thanksgiving service for the fallen soldier would be held on June 11. There have been landmark developments after the death of the Captain who had been stationed in Denkyira-Obuasi to ward off activities of galamsey operators.

Major arrests have been made and suspects have been arraigned before court.
