Ignore CPP; live in 'hell' - Ivor

Ghanaian voters who decide to ignore the Convention People’s Party (CPP) will keep living a hell of a life, the party’s flagbearer, Ivor Greenstreet, has said.

While introducing the CPP’s 2016 parliamentary candidate for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam in the Central Region during the annual Akwambo festival at Ajumako-Besease over the weekend, Mr Greenstreet urged voters to reject the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the biggest opposition party – New Patriotic Party (NPP) – in the December polls, since, in his view, both parties have failed Ghanaians.

“I speak to your heart and I speak to your souls and I speak to your spirits. For those who choose not to listen, continue with the hell of your daily lives, for those who choose to listen, we shall take you to a place that you never ever dreamt existed because Ghana is a wealthy nation,” the CPP flagbearer stated.

He urged the residents to vote for the CPP’s parliamentary candidate, Monica Dappong, a person living with disability, who, according to him, has the spirit to serve, unlike the candidates of the NDC and NPP.

“…All of those who have big names and big money do nothing for you. So, bring somebody who has a clean heart, somebody who means and represents truth, justice, hope and true progress, to come and serve you in your daily lives. So, wake up as a people and stop following those who pretend to serve you but only come and serve themselves; choose somebody from your own soil who really will come and serve you as a people,” he added.
