Akufo-Addo’s “All Die Be Die” Gains Grounds In Ashanti

, As NAPO Commands Thugs To Beat Up His Constituency Treasurer

News Desk Report

‘The devil one knows, is better than the angel he does not know”: It is on this foundation that ex-President John Agyekum Kofi Kufuor had no option than to go for his old lamb, Allan Kwadwo Kyerematen (aka Allan Cash) once again, to do his bidding as he fights to take control of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), after the party’s defeat in 2012; since his Nephew, Matthew Opoku Prempeh has failed to pass the test and stands the salvo of criticism from his own family (NPP).

Even before he assumes position as the” leader” of the NPP in 2016 as he brags to have had full blessing and promises of ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor to ensure that he is made the Flagbearer, he has already started superimposing himself on his constituents.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (aka Napo), pretending to be working for Akufo-Addo as his Director of Elections and supportive of his “all die be die” slogan, even although having made his intension known, of leading the opposition NPP in 2016, has commanded his thugs to beat up his Constituency Treasurer, Mr. Fredrick Addae on Thursday 11 August, 2011, during a constituency meeting at the National House of Chiefs in Manhyia.

One Wilberforce Nana Kwame the assembly member of Krofrom West in Kumasi led the thugs of nine (9) macho-men to molest Fredrick Addae, dragging him with blood oozing from his nose a minute after Matthew Opoku Prempeh had threatened to teach him a bitter lesson, if he dares prove difficult for him, prior to the start of the meeting.

Speaking to The Informer via telephone on Monday 15th August, 20011, Mr. Fredrick Addae said he became a target for Napo and his ‘allied forces’ when he resolved that he will never allow them to destabilize the constitution of the party.

“As a committed and dedicated member, I have vowed never to allow Napo and his group to manipulate the constitution to their advantage and on countless occasions oppose their machinations, hence his decision of instructing his macho-men to beat me up”, he pointed out.

“Seeing me as an impediment on his way, Napo, said to the hearing of all executives present at the meeting that, I will go home with blood oozing from every part of my body if I misconduct myself just after which, his macho-men appeared at the scene (venue) to take me through the ordeal, by mercilessly molesting me leaving bruises all over my body”, Fredrick Addae added. “Opposing his bad decisions so he would not undermine the party’s constitution seemed to be my misconduct; but the fact of the matter is that, I will not relent in my efforts as serving constituency executive to whip him in to line, even if I will die in the process” he stated, saying Napo has divided the constituency as result of his total disrespect for the party’s laid down structure and the chairman, Nana Osei Mensah, in particular. “If indeed if it is true that our lovely father, John Agyekum Kufuor has any intention of promoting Napo, then he must revise his note, since his newly found horse is a complete disaster to ascend the position he is bragging of; having no respect for the party’s constitution”, he hinted. “Napo with his arrogance will endanger the fortunes of the party in the Manhyia constituency, and I will not be surprised if the NDC pull a shocker:, he concludes.

Asked whether he has made official complaint to the police or the party has taken up the matter, he told The Informer that the case is already in the hands of the police, and that he has been attending hospital with the assistance from the police.

However, credible information reaching this paper has it that, one Kwabena Amofa Sarpong, who sought to resign as the constituency’s communication officer but was prevented by Napo, is on his way to court to seek redress. It is also on record as to how this latter-day Saint (Napo) in the NPP has promised to work against Dan Kwaku Botwe, the NPP MP for Okere ensuring that he loses his seat.

Indeed, Kufuor has to really reconsider his thought so he does not come under the wrath of the Ashantis in the NPP who have vowed to take over the party after 2012, when Akufo Addo is retired.

By far Allan Cash is properly polished, respects and will appealing to majority of the NPP, thank Napo who has started to show his true colours to party members eve before he is made the leader of the party in 2016 as he claimed.
