Abokobi-Madina NPP parliamentary candidate to provide waste bins

Accra, Aug. 17, GNA – Mr James Amoah, New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant for Abokobi-Madina in Election 2012, has unveiled plans to provide waste bins along the main road in the constituency to improve on sanitation.

Mr Amoah told the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra on Tuesday that he was appalled by the worsening sanitation situation in the area especially around the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital.

The professional Criminologist who was the NPP parliamentary candidate for Election 2004 said he would continue with his past efforts to provide street lights to the constituency and help to decongest the lorry stations.

“I would also improve on water supply, the drainage system and pursuance of education in the area,” Mr Amoah affirmed.

He expressed dissatisfaction about the deteriorating state of the roads in Abokobi-Madina, which he said had one of the best lay outs in the Greater Accra Region.

Mr Amoah was a founding member of the NPP in Frankfurt, Germany and a former African Union President in that country.

He was a former Ward 6 Chairman of the NPP at Abokobi-Madina and former First Vice-Chairman of the party in the constituency.
